Delivered to my door at 7AM. The driver called Sunday night when he made it into NC. Said he could deliver any time. 7AM was perfect for me to receive it and still make it to work. Overall its an impressive machine with the features that count. It has the Koyker 195 loader. I didn't do much on it yet. Checked bolts for tightness, did the 15 minute engine run-in described in the book - 5 min idle, 5 min medium speed, 5 min wide open all in neutral. The engine starts and runs good. Max RPM is a little low - maybe I need to adjust the valves right away? The PTO gears are noisy unless I have the clutch in all the way and there is a good bit of gear noise in reverse. Is all that gear noise normal at 3 hrs?

It didn't come with a seatbelt or PTO shield. The dealer said the factory doesn't include them. I guess they are not familiar with the principal of CYA. I added a seat belt from the back seat of a junker I happen to have. I might buy a nice new one if the one I am watching on ebay doesn't get bid up.

I also have a 554 and am very happy with it. My air cleaner is not located to side like yours. Who did you buy it through?

unusual. mine came with both the pto shield and seat belts.
But dont feel bad, they screwed me out of the duel remotes. I would rather be without the things you were left without than try and put remotes on for cheap.

Guess it's the luck of the draw at how many parts the dealer can glean out of a shipping container. My KM454 came had belts/shield/remotes. But having said that, the dealer may have cobbled it all together from parts received in different crates too. In the end, a helluva lot depends on the attention to detail paid by the selling dealer.

That's a great tractor you got there. I have the 2005 model...same engine. Got everything on mine including the rear remotes, seat belts but no PTO shield?? Is that air cleaner the oil bath type? Mine is not.
From what I've heard from other Kama owners, the gear grind when new is pretty common. Mine did the same. When I did the first lubrication changeover, the tranny and gears shifted totally different...they worked great. As far as the rpms, after I adjusted the valve lash, I made more than the rated rpms...wish I would have checked them sooner because it was so easy to do. Here's a link to how I did it, if you're interested and many helpful comments.

They shorted me some seatbelts once and sent me some sholder harness types once. Never missed a PTO shield. I'm courious how your dealer got that one through customs, is there some type of EPA lable on the engine? I woudn't worry about it, its his neck (if he is the importer) on the line, not yours. I'd really like to be able to continue selling that model. The squeel in reverse is common. Be sure all your shifters "click" into position. If you have remotes, watch the little hose on the hydr filter, it can be replaced with the same hose the jinma uses for bypass. Always maintain at least 1" of clutch pedal free travel. this has an 11" clutch so you will have to work harder to burn it up than the smaller models, but it can happen. remember to use a lower gear, not pressure on the clutch pedal to slow the tractor. Put platic tie raps around the quick connects on your loader to keep them from accidently getting released and damaging the hydraulic pump. Replace the seal washers on your remote valves (if equiped with a better type. Change the oil before 50 hours in the engine, even if the dealer did. If the dealer did not, change before cold weather comes, regardless of hours or it will not want to crank. We stock lots of parts if your dealer doesn't (out of warranty parts). The factory is desinging a 2 stage clutch to work on a 40 or 45HP EPA engined version of the KM so we may have soem 2006 KMs ourselves in a couple months.

Thanks guys for the informative replies.

PSJ12: I got it from Walnut Knoll Farms & Supply in Flemingsburg, KY. He keeps a few tractors on Ebay. It was $15,000 delivered. The oil bath air cleaner was re-positioned by the dealer. According to his employee who delivered it, the normal position interfered with the loader. The attached picture shows the flex hose coming from the normal mount.
