"Rear Remote Hydraulic Outlets ------------ with backhoe purchase"
I've been told the backhoe will run off of the tractors remotes. Most backhoes I've seen have a separate pump that runs off the tractor's PTO. How can the backhoe run off the remotes designed to be controlled by an up and down lever?

I've also been told the ts354c has remote hydraulics for lowering and raising, let's say a harrow with hydraulic cylinder to raise for transporting. Could someone confirm?

Thanks,
Kevin

I have a backhoe on a New Holland TC30 that runs off of the rear remotes. The lever for the remote just turns the hydraulic flow off and on. I bet the principle is the same on the KAMA.

Thanks, it's a little clearer now. You hook up the backhoe's hoses to the remotes and either flip the leve up or down on the control valve. This allows the fluid to start flowing and you control the hoe with it's levers/vallves. Under load seems like the tractor lever would "kick" into neutral position?

Thanks again,
Kevin

Kevin,
The TS series KAMA do not have remotes, they are fitted with quick connects on both sides of the main pump which is driven off the input shaft of the PTO. The factory method is to disconnect lift box and FEL to run backhoe, the factory loader has its own resevoie which mounts in the ROPS, you cannot use the main pump for more than one attachment or 3 point at a time. We plumb ours in series using open center valves so both backhoe and loader can be used at same time.
3 point is still disengaged during backhoe use, but it is not needed while the backhoe is on. backhoe mounts with lift arms at bottom of travel and we add a cross brase from draw bar to top link for added rigidity.

Thre is a 1/2 remote available on the lift box of the KAMA. you turn a valve and it diverts pressure to the port instead of the lift. It works with the lift levers, up for pressure down to return to tank. You can put the valve in a position where both the 1/2 remote and the 3 point will pressurize together. some have used this for dump cylinders using a draw bar between the lift arms, the draw bar raises the tounge of the trailer and the lift cylinder dumps the bed at the same time. I cant remember who posted this on the old CTOA sight a year or 2 ago.

You can add any hydraulics you like so long as they are open center valves (fluid stays circulatiing when valve is not used) shoudl have PR valve in the first unit in circuit.

Hope this helps clear it up if not feel free to call or email

Thanks for the info. I found this picture, which shows remotes (covered). Anyone recognize the tractor model?

Thanks,
Kevin

appears to be a JInma with backhoe pump installed. Judging by the position of the quick connects, I would say one is the half remote (works in conjunction with lift valve) and one is a return line into the resevoir. I could be wrong, a picture of hte other side would be more revealing.
