Kaufman vs Gatormade

   / Kaufman vs Gatormade #21
Of the car haulers I see driving around up here in New England. I am talking about 1 ton dually pickup with a 3-4 car trailer. I have to say over 60% of them are Kaufman trailers. I haven’t seen them broken down so they can’t be that bad.

I am in New England too!
Agreed!

A year ago I did some research and decides on a Gatormade. I used to have a ProTrack gooseneck and the Gator is twice the trailer. It is much heavier built and I like the built in chain box. I also like the steps they have up front to make it easier to climb up onto the deck. The ramps came with arms that allow you to travel with them in an upright position (this allows longer loads.)

Those rams are great nice and wide. Kaufman also has front steps to get up and arms to hold the ramps up. To get fold flat ramps on the Kaufman, it is an upgrade.
