Kawasaki and Daihatsu engines

I am interested in the new 5000 series Cub Cadet subcompact tractors. I'm familiar with the Kohler brand gasoline engines. Could anyone tell me how well is the quality, dependability and reliability with the Kawasaki gasoline and Daihatsu diesel engines? Thank you.

I've got a Diahatsu in my 7264.
No problems, so far.
Diahatsu has been around for years "overseas" .
