Keep my 2320 or upgrade to 3320 ??

if your not buying the 3320 cab for that price, i'll take it!! Hard to buy an open station for that price....

1600 hours is nothing to be scared of....i consider that low.

These tractors will last alot longer than that...

I agree, for that price i would be all over that.. I am looking for one now, clean ones with no cab going for 20,000 around here Upstate NY..

Brand new with same options - loader, mower - 31,000 plus tax.. OUCH..

Used never looked so good..

Update for you guys,

Machine came to the property on Monday. Used it for some chores for a few hours. Definitely a different machine than the 2320

Will be using it again tonight for some other chores. Still haven't made up mind yet if I will be buying it. Friend is coming to pick up it up tonight and will bring back if I want to buy.

Hours on the Machine is higher than originally stated. It is 2100 hours. (Lot higher than the 1600 he told me on the phone)

Also getting an Error Code 05 when I push the Cruise Control button. Just checked the online manual and it mentions this code can also come come up if foot is on the brake. So I need to try again tonight and make sure my foot isn't on the brake.

I'll let you know more when I use it tonight.

Update: Friend selling the 3320 came by today to pick it up (Had a job for it). I asked him more about tractor:

Said he bought it new....had it for 4 years. All 2100 hours are his. I need to talk with another friend because I could have swore the other friend said it was bought used.

He said it also comes with an extra bucket.....Larger / materials bucket. Also comes with 72in MMM that he said he only been used a few times.

Only error code I saw on was Code 05....cruise control. I mentioned that to him and he said he never used the cruise control so he never would have noticed it. So, not sure what is wrong there or how much that is to fix.

I am going to have to make decision soon.....but I need to find out what the damage is going to be from JD on my 2320 that blew up last week.

Bought a 2320 when we moved to our 6 ac horse property. (Property is sloped) Found it struggled with the manure spreader (original New Idea 12A), mowing in low range was a must, it struggled with the box scraper and I always seemed to need more loader. Ended up trading it on a 3720 after one year and never looked back. Big difference in capability. Whether you decide on the 3320 from your friend, another 3x20 used or 3x20 new, you will welcome the extra muscle.

Don't manufacture a bunch of "pressure" on yourself to do something. This is a decision that a couple of weeks or so should not be that big of a deal! Borrow or rent another mower or tractor to keep up with your mowing, etc. until your 2320 situation is resolved.

I'm not getting good "gut instincts" from your buddy with the used 3320... Original hours and 1 owner; that's alot of time per year - over 500 hours every year.

Did he have a landscaping/mowing business?

Sometimes the best thing; is to sit back a bit and wait for the dust to settle... before the direction to proceed becomes clearer.
