I certainly understand why some are adamant about keeping politics out of the discussion. I wouldn't want to try to defend some of what is going on either. I wouldn't want to hear about it, I wouldn't want to think I may have contributed to it etc. etc.
Let me just stick my head in the sand and/or compare our political climate to that of 50 years ago so I can feel better about it.
What next, we go back into the 1800s so we can feel better about the race relations in the 50's.

BTW, anyone else see the irony in this "keep politics out of it" thread? It's like a sacrificial thread. You know like the sacrificial plant that gardeners plant to lure bad insects away from the plants you really care about.

Yes. I was responding to another post. Orange tractor talk is another tractor forum site for Kubota owners and they do the same moderation related to political talk.
