I have a 135 that I will keep mostly for working in the woods, it's more than paid for itself in the 11 years I've had it.
The subdivision I live in are all large lots, 4-5 acres on average, and is situated on a private gravel road. I had the contract for snow removal for the first 5 years we lived there but my work takes me away from home too often to make it feasible. Approaching retirement in a couple of years and will look to take the contract on again, current cost has increased four fold since I gave it up 5 years ago, ridiculous. Starting to look more seriously now, although not likely to buy until next year I'm hoping for opinions from anyone running the 1600 series pictured here or their 1500 series cousins for this type of work.

I like the 1652 above, has the 130 loader whose frame is a liitle more substantial than the 120 loader, which is good particularly for a front mounted plow.

The 1648 above with cab has the 130 loader as well, and after 11 years of "weathering it" a cab sure sounds good.
The tractor I quoted was a 1648 HST, quick attach with a 6' HD bucket, R1s and a block heater, dealer's best price was $28,900 CAD cash plus taxes. With a cab add between $5.5K to $6K.
What do you think, I know the smaller series (1635/1643) do a great job, my neighbour has a 1528 and he's gotten very good at using it for snow removal. The primary reason for something a little larger is I may be using it to do a some contract work, no Mall parking lots but more than just around my property.
Thanks for your opinions / insight.
Regards
