If my are dirty I don't worry too much. I park it on my side of the garage then so my wife doesn't yell at me for messing up her side of the garage. It's her's until it needs cleaning, then the whole garage is mine. but if the dirt drops off I just take the push broom and push it out. We bought them to help us do work and if they get dirty that is part of the job.

I agree. However, I do find myself cleaning up ol' blue before putting her away and I don't even have a garage or barn to park her in yet!

OH yes...dirty tractors in the garage. My boys can't help themselves from coming over to the tractor while it's in the garage and picking the dried mud globs off all the wheels and flinging them across the garage floor! Momma is not too happy about us boys tracking into the house all of the crud. So...when the tractor is dirty it gets sent to the barn for a timeout. :( When it's clean, then it get's the pole position in the garage and is one with the family. :D I guess my procedure is to at a minimum every 10 to 15 hours or so wash off the major crud to grease the zerks and do a quick once over. When I get ready for the 50 hour service, then the tractor gets a full pressure/steam wash outside to really get things clean and try to blow as much crud and grease off the machine. Then it's into the garage for a full maintenance interval.

Sounds to me that you have a pretty good plan. I really wish that I had a better pressure washer, but I guess I can't complain that much, since it's better then just a garden hose. Steam would be the way to go. I like your idea with that and then hit the zerks (at 10-15) and then change all fluids at 50ty hrs. I have almost 20 on mine and I was thinking about at least changing the engine oil...

I think the only thing that saves my garage from too much mud is that fact that I have a entrance and exit door. So when ole blue is super nasty, I just sneak her in the back way...

Interesting stuff people...
