I keep coons out of my corn with an electric fence. Just one encounter will convince them that there's easier meals elsewhere. If you have a small unit, put a circle of it around your feeders with two wires. Hot wire about 6" off the ground and a ground wire about 12" off the ground. Then sit back and enjoy Rocky's first encounter with it./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Aren't you guys overlooking the obvious and simple solution? Just post a "No Racoons" sign on the bird-feeder. I'll conceed that I'm new to country living, so there may be a flaw in my plan. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
