Rob,
Call me old school but given a choice of keyboard or mouse, I always try and use the keyboard.
There are all kinds of keys or key sequences that can be used instead of clicking with a mouse. Most can be found by clicking on the toolbar (where it says file, edit, view...). If there's a keyboard equivalent, it'll be stated next to the command.
Now don't read these all at once so you have something new for the next couple days, but here are some of my favorites:
CNTL+N (new)
In internet explorer, opens a new window identical to what you're on. Very handy if you like the site you're on but need to move on.
In e-mail (outlook or outlook express) it'll open a new message
In Word, Excel... it'll open a new document, spreadsheet...
Alt+tab - scroll through all open windows. each time you tap the tab, it'll go to the next window.
Alt+F4 - close the active window. (if all windows are closed, it'll open the shutdown for the computer).
CTRL+F - Find
OK - Now I need someones help. I'm looking for a key sequence the equivalent to "back" in Internet Explorer.
