We had a thunderstorm last night. The skim ice is now gone from most area lakes. Geese, ducks, swans, etc. are back.

We still have nice below freezing temps and snow in the forecast. Lake shore photos some buddies took on Sunday. This is Copper Harbor conglomerate they are standing on at Horseshoe harbor. I should add that we are still skiing here but its on a low, low base.

Then the wind switched to the NW and the lake spigot came on.

We got good lake snow coming down here again. Hopefully enough to knock down on our trails later today.
