Yes - I have a friend in Ontonagon, MI who is still knee deep in the white stuff. Been back to visit twice. Beautiful place in the summer. When you have to make "snow tunnels" to get to your front door - too much for this dude.

Heck - give me Alaska. At least, there you can see over the snow berms.

I remember seeing snow in a ravine in the woods, it was the end of June and 85 out up there

Maybe for you, but probably not for ArlyA for awhile. We are in northern lower Michigan and still have some snow on the ground and we receive a lot less than he does. Jon

Not on this Arlyn. My friend has pictures of the snow tunnels they dug to get to his front door. However - I will admit - he most likely could have just cleared a path. The tunnels were "dramatic license".

On Monday-Tuesday this week, we stayed at a Yurt in the Porkies state park.

Out on Monday for a back-country ski adventure. The snow was much better as we climbed in elavation.
