We reside a ways away from any lakes, other than the BIG one but since we've been warm, I'd have to guess not.

NOAA changed our forecast so we might be rolling our trail Sunday morning. This is a pretty normal winter forecast for us..

We had rain in our forecast but NOAA just swtich it to all snow.

Is that a couple of kids walking up that severe slope in front of the house? It must be a white knuckle sled ride down. As a kid, I'd be scared but do it anyway.

I'm pretty sure that is just brush or stumps you see.

We skied today near Courtney Lake today which is 30 miles SW of us here in Houghton. They are higher than us and receive more snow and a great location to go early skiing at.

We got a dusting of snow overnight, enought to roll down anyway.

Looks like we'll be out on trails this week. This is normal winter forecast for us.
