Oh, I thought you asked K's. The XC world commonly works with metrics and K's. We just casually do a few miles.

Those are clouds over the great lakes, not ice formations. Great lakes are about 25% covered with ice. Per TV weatherman tonight. Jon

I didn't say that was lake ice since that doesn't drift 50 miles over the land mass. 25% ice coverage might be average of all the lakes and those shallow southern ones ice over much faster than Superior. Here is today's ice map.

Weatherman was talking about all the great lakes. And yes Erie has a lot more ice already. Jon

Was out in it yesterday, and this morning. Got about 5" overnight to knock down.
