Henbit is a winter annual. It emerges in the fall/winter and blooms and seeds the following spring. Probably why you never see it go to seed plus seeds are very small.

I usually have it pretty much out of sight by spot spraying it 2 Xs a month all winter. (what we call winter) Enough survives 24D to re seed apparently.
