I've got a bit of an infestation of Oxalis in my yard, and I really really really want this stuff gone. I've tried just about everything I can think of to get rid of it, and nothing works. Roundup appears to kill it, but after a few weeks the leaves start regrowing. If you dig it up and don't get every last spec of bulb or root, the plant will come back. The clumps get to the point where they'll choke a lawnmower when you try to mow them down, and if the mower happens to pull up one of the bulbs and chop it, then it spreads even worse.
Is there anything out there that will kill this stuff short of using a torch to burn it out of the ground? (And I'm honestly not sure that would work either. Oxalis is the cockroach of the plant world. You just can't kill it.)
