King Kutter Carry All and I Match Compatable?

I have tried to search- without any luck


I recently purchased a KK carry all and when I tried to hitch to the Imatch- the top link bracket is about 3.75 to high??? The top hook of the IMatch will not connect to the top link pin- the lower pins are OK

Anyone else with this problem?? I have seen issues with HF quick hitch and the top link- however I believe this is a different issue.


Any suggestions???

Common problem...they dont follow the ASAE standard that the iMatch and other similar QH's require.

Thanks for the response's- It is a I Match- I didnt figure that this would be an issue with King Kutter?? Live and Learn- Next time I will measure

I wasnt sure if King Kutter may have a bracket that they have produced to address the issue??

Neither my KK carryall nor my KK rake were iMatch compatible, so I made an adapter. One of these days I may make some permanent changes on the carry all, but I don't see any good (easy) way to make the rake fit, so I will probably always use the adapter on it.

Finally made an adapter for the I- Match- this design is based on a "cam over" of sorts.

Materials-
2 1/2 x 3/8 strap
3/4 x 5 1/2 gr 8 bolt, washers and nut
5/8 x 5 1/2 gr 8 bolt, washer and nut
1/2 x 5 1/2 gr 8 bolt, washer and nut

A couple bushings and a short piece of 1 1/4 gas pipe.

No welding on this one

Looks like a great fix.
I'm trying to sort out why the "cam over" but maybe it will come to me.

I can see there was no need for drilling or welding the KK this way. Anything else?

I guess I chose that term because the adapter pivots on the center bolt which kinda 'cams over- with the top bushing ( what I call the cam over)..

From what I see I would call it a mechanical stop. I had to modify a tiller top mount because of incompatibility in a similar way. What is the height difference in the I-Match between the lower links and the 3rd point?

Ok mechanical stop This design is simalar to the adapter on my LX 5 RC.

I believe ASAE specs show 15" OC from the top hook to the lower pins on the I match. That is what I used for a starting point- this seems to work well. Both the top link and bottom pins are engaged.
