King Kutter II 60\" Tiller questions

1. Does it work with an Imatch Quick hitch or other quick hitch?

2. Would it be apropriate for a 3320 John Deere 29 PTO HP?

3. What pricing have you seen on these. Local quote was $1298.

1.) I use mine with a quick hitch, would think you could use it with a imatch
2.) I have used mine on a 4400, but prefer it on my 16 hp Kioti, my dad uses a 72" on his 4400.
3.) I paid about 1068.00 a couple of years ago, but have seen them much higher since then.

29 hp is plenty, may even want to go to the 72" unit. Farm Fleet had them on sale recently for 1195 IIRC. So your price is not out of the ball park.

I have Pat's ECS on my JD 4010 and it works fine with my 48" KK tiller. I can't imagine why the I-Match would not work.

I would think so. My 4010 only has 14.5 PTO hp and it turns the tiller with ease. Now, I'm not talking about tilling up a county road or hard packed clay, just regular field soil. Your tractor should handle it.

The 60" tiller at my local TSC was $1200 and change, can't remember exactly since I wasn't looking at it. My 48" tiller was $1136.

I've got a First Choice 60" tiller I run with 26.9 pto hp. I now think I should have gone with a 72". The 60" just barely covers my tracks and never seems to load the engine up. Another foot sure would be nice.

Under $1100 at a local farm store here. If that happens to be much more than a couple hours drive from you place, that'll negate any savings.

Great tiller for the buck. Great tiller period. There are several "as good", but nothing stands out as BETTER.

If you buy the 72", you can always remove tines on the last tiller spline if it's too much for your tractor. They unbolt and can be spares or you can put them back on after you get your soil conditioned the first time. The 72" tiller is $1495 at my local TSC store. I bought one a month ago.

Bought one a few weeks ago on sale at Trctor Supply for 1147. I have the I Match on my 3320. The PTO shaft requires a 6" overalap and with the I match you will have a little less the 4". The cheapest solution is to buy from TS a 3" pto extension ($19) which comes with a drift pin which is useless because neither the KK or 3320 PTO is drilled to accept the drift pin. My soultion was to buy three 5/16 set screws and drill and tap the pto extension 3/8" from the end. When the extension is installed on the KK the set screws will line up with the groved indent on the pto shaft. Make sure before drilling the set screw holes that they are lined up with the high part on the KK pto shaft. This will help ensure the extension can't slide off. Also use locktite. Now if you have a friend with a drill bit that will drill a 5/16 hole in the pto shaft hardened steel you can use the drift pin.
