Can you use one of those 3pt. hitch spreaders for spreading lime?

Glen Watkins you can spread pelletized lime with a 3 pt. spreader, but regular lime not so well.

Don't use the funnel 3 pt. hitch spreader for ag lime. It won't work

Thanks for the advice on the drop spreaders. Here are two that I reconditioned like new. One is an 8 foot EZ Flow and the other is a International Harvester McCormick that I cut down from 8 foot to a 6 foot.

NICE Work bushhog bob!! Looks like you and I should go into the commercial biz. (grin) I dont know what I am going to do with two of these guys. Maybe I will sell one, AFTER I see how the little one works. Good luck with yours.
