King Kutter prices, Almost choked on this.

Today I called my local tractor/farm supply for a 6 foot KK box blade. This unit sells at TSC for $368.52. My local farm store quoted me a price of (sit down for this one) $699.00. I had all I could do to keep from laughing at him. The nearest TSC store is 131 miles away. I think for that price, I will check on shipping it to me. I may even take a run out to N.Y. and do some other shopping while I am there. Now you know why Ma. dealers are crooks.

Well, I was going to caution you to make sure that you were comparing the same "duty", e.g. light, medium or heavy. But I just checked the King Kutter web site, and they only show one 6' box blade. That's a pretty big price difference. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I'm getting a 5' box (Midwest) from Corriher. You should call them for a much better box and not much more money. Plus they do have several models with different features.

Well shucks, I think I can ship to a 18 wheeler accessable business/commercial address, a Atlas/Sunburst 6 ft Box Blade of comparable quality for just a tad over that (All the way from Ky)--I may be wrong--However--TSC seems a little high on thier KK pricing--Ken Sweet

Jim, I don't know where you are in Mass. but a new TSC just opend in Queensbury, New York on Tuesday. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif It's half the distance from my farm than the one in Amsterdam, New York that I used to go to. I've been there twice already!!! They actually do have some parts that are hard to find anyplace else.. I needed a new rim for my smallest hay wagon, and TSC was the only place that carried that size rim anywhere near me!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

RichZ, where abouts in Queensbury? I also go to the one in Amsterdam. I think Q'b may be closer for me. I'm going to do a MapQuest search to see which one is. Thanks for the info.

I live in Saratoga and have a small place up in Elizabeth town where I do my farming. Could you give me directions or a phone number to the TSC outlet in Queensbury. That's right in my back yard and I don't know about it. Thanks, Paul

Thanks for the info on the Queensbury store. The TSC store in Amenia is much closer to me than Queensbury.

Be sure to check and see if your TSC has any of the RED ones left. Seems that TSC is changing the color of the KK equipment from red to mustard yellow, and ALL red implements are being discontinued and marked down. I bought a RED (last year's model) CarryAll for $50, and the new mustard color ones were $76. Same item, different color, less $$$.
