Kioti Backhoe

My dealer stated that the loaders and backhoes are made by Taesung Mfg Co., another Korean company. Their website is here: Pioneer & High Hopes - TAESUNG. They have partnered with Kioti since 2003.

I have a Woods BH70-X backhoe on my Kioti CK35 and have been very happy with it. Liked it more than the Kioti backhoe due to it's factory 7 position thumb. :)

I am trying to decide on a BH70 or 80 for my bobcat ct230. Kioti's ck30.
If you had it to do over again would you still buy the 70 or would you opt for the 80. There is only $450 difference between them.

I have the BH-70X and you've just ruined my day. Only $450, really???!!!! I was going to go with the Kioti hoe until I started asking about a thumb and my dealer started telling me all about the Woods bh. I never asked about the cost of going to the BH-80X or if the CK30 could handle it, but there's no question GO FOR THE BH-80X for only $450 (what percentage more is that anyway?).

Other than being stronger and being able to dig deeper, I believe it also has the variable swing control (or whatever they call it) and that would be a nice feature.

Good looking rig! On the thumb is it much trouble to adjust? When not in use how is it kept out of the way? I never gave one a thought but it sure looks very useful.

A Woods dealer told me thay didn't have a frame mount kit for a CT 225, that I would Have to use the 3 point. I quit looking then. Do you have a frame mount for the woods BH?

What a bunch of BS, the sub frame was one of the two things that sold me on the Woods bh over the Kioti bh. Unless the Woods dealer didn't know that the CT225 is the exact same as the Kioti CKXX, and they don't list one specifically for the Bobcat version.

thanks ken, I was suspect, but that's what he told me. But this info may have cost me $6k or so. :)

I would go for the 8 footer. Sometimes I wish I had the hydraulic thumb as well. Kind of a pain to get off to adjust the manual 7 position thumb. Don't get me wrong, it is great to have the thumb, it's just I so use it a fair amount. :)
