Kioti CK 20 HST FEL does everything but rise

Hi All,

Anyone have an idea as to why? It worked fine and after around 4 hours of use moving cut up logs for firewood, the bucket did not go up anymore when pulling the lever back. Any help is appreciated since I still have lots of logs to move.

I suggest posting in the Kioti forum. A few questions though....

Does the FEL joystick move "normally"?
Is it the bucket or the FEL arms that won't go up or both?
Does it sound like the hydraulic fluid is bypassing like it does when you go all the way down?
Is there a physical impediment at the loader attach point that is loose or broken?
Do you have enough down pressure to lift the front tires off the ground?

Check the 4 quick couplers from the hoses that lead from the loader to make sure that all 4 are plugged in.

Also make sure the small tab that locks out the control arm isn't partially engaged.

Same thing happened to my CK20 a while ago. The FEL would lift about 1ft off the ground then stop. Apparently, one of the quick dis-connects came just loose enough to not allow hydraulic flow. The easiest way to reconnect them is to shut off the machine, drop the buck and move the joystick in all directions to release pressure then pop the quick disconnect back into place making sure it's fully seated.

X3. In my case I was running through some construction debris and one of the quick disconnects got snagged and unplugged the hose.
