Thx for update. If you ever figure out why pump failed let us know. I wonder if your dad real caused the problem or was just operating when failure occurred. I did not have backhoe on when my first pump ate itself and fuel cam broke, I was operating in heavy brush (jungle) w/PTO running bush hog, lots of vines and sticks I believe hydraulic selector got pushed/pulley back and deadheaded without me hearing due to engine & rear PTO noise. I believe subsequent failures may have been due to insufficient hydraulic flush and/or more deadheading, (maybe operator error, mine). either way I wish when rear output are installed a bypass pigtail hose was supplied and the hydraulic directional lever had a manual lock pin feature. Glad you are running hope it stays that waywell after lots of extra work I caused myself I have it fixed. when I found the pump all tore up I went and took the priority valve apart and when I put it back together I didn't tighten the pressure relief valve in. Not sure how it wasn't leaking as it was only just started in the threads. I tightened it back in and everything worked. I wish I would not have screwed that up the first time around it would have saved me a lot of work. But it is working now!
Thanks everyone!
