I am a Kubota guy, but my uncle has a ck25. I used it to bush hog today, and I had to drive it about a 1/2 mile to where I was working. Even the slightest hill would severely bog it down. Then if I went down a steeper hill the the transmission would just let it coast down the hill even though I never let off the HST pedal or touched the clutch. Then at the bottom of the hill it would coast almost to a stop with the pedal still held to the floor, and almost die when it tried to take off again. I was running max rpm. When I got back to the barn I put the tractor in 4WD low range and held the positive traction lock. I pushed against a stump, and the tractor could not spin the wheels. It was turning 3000 rpm and lugged until it died. My Kubota L3240 HST, and a friends L3130 HST can pass this test. The old Kubota L2550 GST can pass this test in 5th gear. It was pretty wet today, so it didn't have super good traction. The loader works good, the PTO has enough power to run a 60" tiller, the 3PT hitch works good, and the power steering works good. The tractor has 290 hours, and has never worked any better.
