Kioti ck2510h code 22

Hello My kioti ck2510h shows a code 22. That said i cannot understand wht it means with the term ´glow lamp’. I cannot find in the repair manual any glow lamp. Any idea ? Thanks

I'm curious as to how you have a code when your machine doesn't use a computer to monitor the engine? Watching for responses as my CX uses the same engine.

'glow lamp' = Glow Plug. I dont have the codes in front of me (didnt know the CK25 even had codes..), but it seems you are having a problem with the Glow Plugs or circuit feeding them, like the relay.

Ck2510 - appeared like glow plugs failed.

Fyi for anyone troubleshooting a difficult to start ck2510 (or I'm sure other models) - my dash would show the glow plug light, it would stay on the typical amount of time, but then turning the key right afterwards the engine would have to turn over a lot before finally stuttering to a start...

Thanks for input. Today I checked the relay and I found a cable in the connector of the relay that was badly oxidized. I thought that I solved the issue but as usual after 30 minutes that the tractor is running the code 22 starts to appear.

Update :

The glow lamps appears after about 30 minutes the tractor is running.
I verified and corrected a little cabling issue connecting the to the riley of the plugs. Unfortunately that did not love the issue. It looks that the issue is related to the engine getting warmer (?).
Any hint is welcome

thanks, I checked from the startup up key up to the relay and all is working fine. Because the lamps with code 22 goes on after the tractor is running for 30 minutes I guess it may be something linked to the plugs or the cable between the plugs and the relay. The engine starts correctly without any effort.

You mean the plugs light ? No , all works fine and tractor power is ok….the only issue is that after 30 minutes from starting the tractor the lamps (Cel) with the code 22 come out…..

Can we get a clear answer on what model is this? Trying to figure out if I have a service manual but I see different models being listed. CK2510, CK1025, CX2510. A little bit confusing.

I'm still wondering how a tractor will throw a code without ECM. It just has a simple hour meter display. It would make sense for a CK3510, but not for a CK2510.

No, I mean maybe the glow plugs are stuck on. They are suppose to turn of after starting, or shortly thereafter, depending on temperature. Seeing as you have a computer, I can fully believe the engine has a 'after glow' feature where the glow plugs stay on, but at a little lower temp, after starting until the engine comes to temp. If it indeed does have this feature, then maybe it is not working correctly.

You might need to call the dealer and ask.

Image shows you the control unit minted on this model. I have the workshop manual. So far I inspected from the startup key to relay (blue box) and all is fine.

all alarms I guess are managed by the ECU unit , error 22 (see image ).
I actually submitted time ago the issue to all dealers here in Quebec City; they said they would have checked but no feedback. What’s new. So I wrote to Kioti to raise the concern of the customer service and the code 22.

Thank you for confirming you have an ECM and posting the code description.

22 - "Activated when DO2 (Glow Lamp) over current or open circuit is detected"

That description really does makes it seem like the lamp itself is the problem, as I joked earlier. Does your Glow Lamp turn on for a few seconds after turning the key to 'On/Run' like normal?

*Same as above Fault Lamp Code '21'

Interesting thread, I would have said that the CK2610 or CK2620 didn't have an ECU. I will have to think about pulling the cowl cover on my 2620 and see if it has one in it.
I could see a chance for confusion as the manual is for several models some of which are common rail injection.

Interesting , I took the tractor to the dealer and they had no connector to check the ecu and that they don’t know where is the problem. I sent a message to KIOTI and a very arrogant person replied that the dealer should fix the issue and if they don’t have a connector the dealer needs to get one. If they cannot solve the issue the dealer needs to contact KIOTI, not me. I think the customer service of KIOTI is really questionable.
