Kioti CK2610 front loader ?

Hello everyone. I’m in the process of looking for a larger tractor and the Kioti is a front runner (currently have 2016 Kubota BX2370). The dealer near me has the CK2610 HST with the KL4030 loader. According to the salesman with proper ballast this combination is capable picking up a pallet (with forks) with 2000lbs on it. Can anyone substantiate this claim? I don’t need to lift that kind of weight to full height, just high enough to pull a pallet off a trailer (two feet maybe) and move it on smooth ground.

I would also appreciate any feedback on your experiences with your CK2610 any problems, regrets, options you love or wish you had gotten. Do you wish you had gone with more horse power?

To the the TBN forum Mercracing. You have come to the right place to get answers.

I don't have the specs for the KL4030, but I do know that the KL2610 will only do 1275 lbs. at pin and the load will be about 500mm farther out which means even less lift. I would make the salesman prove it for the CK2610.

Thanks for the reply. I told the salesman I would need to see the tractor in action prior to pulling the trigger (he said he would have to check with his boss).

Good for you, since some sales people will say anything to get a sale.

When you test it, make sure that it properly lifts the amount of weight you need plus some extra.

Claim is 1835# @ 60"... Not sure how that may translate in real life to lifting a 2k# pallet w/ a pair of 400# forks.

Anyone have any other feedback on the CK2610 HST? Do you feel the power is adequate (I will mostly use the tractor for tree limb/brush clean up, driveway maintenance/expansion, some ground engaging work)?

Never happen.. He is probably confused with lift and breakout force or dumber than a box of rocks..

Look up the actual specs on Kioti.com
I highly doubt that model, with that loader can do a ton, even with adequate ballast.
But I'm willing to admit, I am not looking at the spec sheet, nor the web site at the moment. They should have a brochure that gives all the details, or a loader owner's manual to show you the specs. Make them prove it to 'ya!:thumbsup:

Tractor data says around 1200lbs.. BUT that number is not weight hanging three feet from the loader arms on a set of pallet forks..

A 2610 will not lift anywhere near a ton, time to look for a bigger tractor..

The KL4030 on the tractor (per Kioti specs) is supposedly able to lift 1835 lbs at the pin to 5'. I didn't know if there any more capability at a lower height. The salesman claimed it could do it. A little hard to believe.

From what I read, the 4030 could lift 1800lbs but on a 2610 I doubt it, most of the tractor specs I find to be exaggerated including my own.. If I was looking to lift 1800lbs or more I would look for something bigger..

I couldn't weigh the load to know for sure what it was, but I split 4800 lb. pallets of flagstone into three and was just able to get them off the 4' high truck bed. 1800 lbs.- No Way!

If I'm reading your post correctly your split 4800lb's into 1/3's. That would be 1600 lbs. I could live with that if need be.

The lift capacity of the loader is tied to the hydraulics of the specific tractor's output. Do the specs match for the loader to tractor capacity? If not you won't be able to lift the load. Do NOT take a salesman's word for it. If not in writing- it doesn't exist! :shocked:

KL Series loaders utilize the tractor’s hydraulic system, *Specifications may vary with tractor model, front axle configurations.

The salesman is misinformed. The 2610 with ANY loader will lift about 1200lbs.
The gentleman that posted above has a 3510 with a stronger hydraulic pump and he lifted 1600lbs and I’m sure the tractor didn’t want anymore than that.


There are many salesman that know very little and will in fact lead people in the wrong direction. I see it all the time, it’s unfortunate because you’re talking about a lot of money being spent on something that’s very important, if you screw up, your out not the salesman.

Kioti lists the 2610 and 3510 as both having the same (I think 11.7 gpm pumps). Am I missing something?

I see that, kinda strange considering a 10 or 11hp increase in the 3510. Either way I will guarantee you a 2610 will not lift a ton like the salesman is telling you, tell him you will need the tractor to at least lift 1600lbs and you would like him to demonstrate that it can so to be sure your buying the correct piece of equipment.
