My 4 cylinder DK-40se/HST will lift 2671#s at the pins. It weighs 4130-4566#s. Your 2610 specs are?
You, OP can do what you want with your money, but if you go by what the SALES guy tells you instead of actual data, you will be the loser in the buyer beware category.
We've told you time and again to actually verify what you're being told. If you don't or can't its totally on you if you get something that doesn't do the jobs you need it to.

CM out.

Coyote machine. Look back several posts. I said I would let everyone know what comes of testing the loader prior to buying the 2610.

I see post three, I hope his boss will let him demonstrate the tractors abilities for you so you can make an educated decision. Good luck in your search..

Dadster,

If I'm reading your post correctly your split 4800lb's into 1/3's. That would be 1600 lbs. I could live with that if need be.

That's correct...but it was a scary event unloading 35 tons worth. I hadn't lifted that much weight with the forks before and only had the boxblade on for ballast. The two hefty delivery drivers were both standing on the boxblade while I picked the stone off the truck(safety police- be quiet). As soon as the pallet slipped off the truck I lowered the load as fast as possible...and the guys on the back end were on their way up! This happened with the first delivery only, I added a 55 gal barrel of water on the boxblade for ballast and the next two loads went a lot smoother. Just to add more fun, it was raining every time they delivered and my parking area is on a slight slope. Since then I moved 22" x 9' logs (about 1500 lbs.) down the hill with my new Wicked grapple with no issues! But 1800 lbs. on the forks...No Way!

Show us pics of it lifting the required load - I'd like to see that.

Requirements are WAY too vague (though there's the "pallet" requirement). Really need to refine them else you're going to find that when you go to do something that you won't be able to.

While the loader MAY be able to lift 1k lbs I'd not want to be doing it with any regularity. If you're talking weight on a pallet then figure that the total weight is leveraged out 1/2 distance of that pallet's width (plus whatever may be out from the back of the pallet forks- not always can you manage to snag a pallet such that it rests perfectly against the back of the forks): lifting is greatly diminished as the weight extends.

I'd want to verify (through Kioti's site) that that loader is listed as an option for this tractor: I'm not going to scour the specs, that would be the prospective buyer's job (not MY money on the line!). As has been noted, there's more than just pump flow. I've got a Kubota B7800 and it and its loader are able to lift at most about 800 lbs. That's a 30hp tractor with sufficient pump flow. The B7800 is a small-framed tractor, in which case it really ought not be pushed more than this lest the front axle starts breaking down. Kubota did a great job with this package as I've worked it extremely hard and all is still working fine after almost 1,800 hours.

Periodically running things at their max capacities is OK, but doing so on a regular basis is a recipe for eventual failure (possibly catastrophic). Best to size-up with ample cushion.

If I find that I have only an occasional need for extra power (or function) I go out and rent it. If it's a regular need then buy to meet (and exceed) REQUIREMENTS.

I once figured that I was going to be using super sacks of feed. I was going to use pallet forks on the rear of the B7800. I was able to barely get a single pallet with a super sack off my trailer and that was the end of that notion! FAIL! With the purchase of my NX5510 I figured that this is now back on my table as an option: also had a big need to move around palletized crates of firewood- my B7800 just barely lift one, let alone hoist one up on my deck (I knew it couldn't).

I loaded and unloaded a 10ft hemlock that was 21 inches on the small end and about 25 on the big end. I picked it up using a 55inch wicked root rake grapple. Lifted it no problem. Had the backhoe and loaded tires. I tink that log would of been around 1200lbs using my ck2610hst with the original loader ,not the newer one the original poster is referring to.

I further believe in running them full tilt, you dont do the machine any favors by being wimpy on the throttle.with proper maintenance they shouldlast a long time.

Everyone so far is responding to the loader capacity question, which sounds like your primary use. I don't have forks yet, bet just hit 100 hrs on my CK 2610 HST. Bought new Januaru 2017. Mostly loader work with dirt, including hardened clay, mowing pasture with a 6 ft rotary mower, some use of box blade leveling gravel and going backwards to push snow. Also used the FEL to push snow. The 2610 frame and hydraulics i believe are the same as on the 3510. The machine has been reliable so far and we really like it for our uses.

Running the engine at high RPMs is fine, loading axles and such with their maximum carrying weights (lots of weight in/on loader) is another thing.
