Kioti ck2610 vs Kubota 2501

Been comparing for a couple years i am down to flipping a coin both local dealers both good to work with both good reputations the both are same price out the door slightly better payment on kioti the kubota dealer will load the tires for that price. What to do?

If you will keep the tractor six years or less the Kubota will almost certainly retain a higher resale value.

After six or seven years the resale difference between the two brands will not be too significant.



Both tractor are modest size platforms. I trust you have sat on each for a reasonable period to consider how each will feel during long work days.

I went with Kioti, seems to have a lot more features for the price. 23hrs so far and I'm happy.

I went and sat on both the kioti is more comfortable for me and i like the loader control and the kioti sales guy was easier to work with . My new Kioti ck 2610 is being delivered tomorrow

My choice came down to the same two last year. I love my Kioti CK2610HST. For me, it was much more comfortable and $3,000 less with the same options. I think both are capable tractors.

Kubota has 50% of the compact tractor market in the USA. Kioti has 1-1/2% (guess) of the compact tractor market in the USA.

When selling used the difference in brand penetration/recognition will make a huge difference. Note the OP says where he lives both tractors are priced the same.

Almost everyone who knows Kioti also contributes to T-B-N.

Can you share your data on kubota holding 50% market share. Where did you extract this data from. Granted they are top tier with John Deere and MF. Keep in mind Kioti has grown exponentially in past 20 years. There market share is more in the 15-18% segment. Roughly more than New Holland since they are selling LS rebranded as NH. Mahindra is somewhere below Kioti. LS follows suit below Mahindra. Leaving TYM and Branson are rounding out near 1-3% segment. We are Not even bringing in European tractors into the mix for discussion. I owned 1995 LK3054 kioti until 2019 it was the toughest piece of equipment I have ever owned. It went through one starter, ignition switch and 3 batteries after 1695 hours of use. End of the day dealer and cost determine the tractor you buy. Look to BBB to understand if dealer has judgements against him. Bad dealer makes tractor ownership horrible. Buying distance away and looking to near by dealer for warranty work can be challenging too. Tractor Dealers are not watched like automobile dealers where manufacturers seek out feedback if dealer is adding value. Buyer needs to qualify dealer then brand follows. All compact tractors built today are fairly good due to competition. Don稚 be afraid of Kioti make sure you study the model you want even Neil at Messicks notes B3350 had more issues than other Kubota models. Do your homework before you buy.

I'd like to see that myself.
He repletely claims Kubota holds 50% and John Deere holds 30% and the rest fight for the rest.(maybe that's true, I don't know).
But don't continue saying it if you can't supply the data to back up your claim.

I just went through this process, started out leaning L2501, almost talked myself into a CK2610, and wound up buying a 3025e. Just felt right to me, I wasn’t looking for the most capability or features. I didn’t really like the treadle pedal and the Kubota was more expensive than the JD and the Kioti. I was a little worried that I would decide country life is too much work and wind up selling the tractor soon, and figured the JD might hold its value a little better than Kioti. But just a guess. Country life is a lot easier with a tractor, so maybe I won’t sell it after all!
