Hello, I am in the market for a CK30 HST with FEL, I was quoted 17,300 by local dealer. Does this sound fair ?
Thanks.

Too High! Be looking at between $14,000-$16,000 depending on where you live!

i can't speak specifically about the model you're looking at, but what i can tell you is that tractor prices (all brands) vary greatly from region-to-region.

perhaps another forum member will chime in on this thread, but as someone already pointed out, the price may be on the high side (but don't forget the regional disparities in price - that price might be correct for your locale). for example, i looked at the other orange brand before buying by DK55c and found that the same tractor was $6k less in Ohio than it was in NH. Most manufacturers differ from region to region.

having said that, stick with kioti. it is an excellent value for the $.

good luck.

Seems high, in N. Texas that rig goes for around 15K.

I would like to suggest something that I think you'll hear alot. Infact, if you take some time and read thru some of the lenghty threads that exist on this subject you will find tremendous insight on how you should proceed. You will spend as much CPU, phone and travel time as you will seat time for the first month. Because there are so many things that play a role in the decision making process, you will find that coming here after each quote, assuming you get one for each response, will only serve to confuse you more. Visit, call and e-mail the dealers you realistically think you will do business with. Be sure about what you want and do the research necessary to determine your true needs. Believe me it is worth the effort. Then...share here what you've found and you will be amazed at the feedback you will ge

Be honest and upfront with the dealer about your intentions, even if they are not. Remember ***t floats.

Good luck and I hope you have as much fun as i did.

Respectfully submitted

I only have one dealer close to me, so I cant really shop around and I like buying close to home, but would just like to pay a fair price. 17,300 is a little to high for me.
Thanks for all you responces.
