Kioti CK3510 3rd Function Issue

As big of a pain as it would be, I would be tempted personally to plumb everything back as it originally was and verify speed and power of the backhoe. Then presuming all is well again, one step at a time start going through the plumbing once again. However, you are saying the lines for the 3rd valve are 1/4" or #4 but the lines they are replacing are much larger? As in a 3/8" or 1/2" #6 or #8? That has me thinking there is a plumbing issue, either with flow being restricted or flow not being restricted as required and pressure is low. Being able to plumb or tee a gauge in would be quite helpful to see what you had for pressure before and now afterwards. Just thinking out loud here

That is correct. Yes, the lines to the backhoe are fully engaged/connected. The backhoe moves its is extremely slow and lacks power regardless of engine rpm. When bypassing the third function with the quick coupling I added, the backhoe picks up a bit of power and speed by not much.
Do you hear any change on engine load when you operate 3rd function and a cylinder hits end of stroke?

Do you hear any change on engine when you shift rear control to supply oil to the back hoe?

Do you any change on engine when you operate a function on the back hoe?

A couple of weeks ago I took it back apart and replaced the factory hard and the backhoe worked as it should. The hose fitting for the third function are #6 which measures out to around 1/4" ID. The factory hard line has banjo bolts on both ends. The orifices in the banjo bolts are noticeably larger. Maybe closer to 3/8 but I would have to measure to be sure. I would be curious to know of the fitting sizes on the Summit hydraulics kit compare to a different brand like WR Long or a factory Kioti kit.

I will have to try and figure out some adapter fittings to put a gauge on it.

A pressure gauge is not going to do much for you unless you are looking for a restriction to flow.

My 2610H has 2 remotes controlled by levers to the right of the seat. One I use for the backhoe has detents, the other I use for a top link and is spring return to neutral. Is there a chance the lines are crossed and/or that the lever is not fully engaged? Maybe lever linkage is blocked or bound by new plumbing?
I have the factory 3rd function.

One thing I had forgotten on my 2620 detenting the backhoe valve in the wrong direction makes a considerable difference in backhoe behavior.Try changing the valve direction or swap the hoses at the quick connects.

I found the issue. With the adapter fitting plus the 90 fitting on the hose going to the rear remote, it sticks up just high enough to keep the hydraulic lever from engaging the last 1/8-1/4" into position. I unbolted the lever and used channel locks to put it into position and now everything works just fine. I don't think I will be able to make the hose connection any lower profile than it already is with the adapter so I think I will just end up heating the lever up while off the tractor and putting a slight bend in it to clear the fittings. At least it was something simple. Thanks for all of the replies.

Thanks for letting us know what the problem was and certainly not a problem that immediately comes to mind.

Good news.
Which hydraulic lever was effected?

It was the lever controlling the rear remotes. I was able to bend it to clear the hose fitting so it can fully engage in the “B” position.
