Box looks great. Do you have, or can you take some pics of the mounting set up? I tend to obsess with research, and some projects never happen because of it. I really like what you did...
Existing bracket just inside the ROPS bar, had 2 threaded 8mm * 1.25 holes (I added the label for my reference: turns out this is said to be a bracket for the license plate light for importing to Europe, you can see the 2 vertical brackets that they say the Euro license plate mounts to)

I made it very specific (dimensionally) to fit an "old" toolbox I already had

2"X2" angle iron for this horizontal support (22" + or-) attached to the Bracket with (2) 8MM allen bolts.

Welded a frame to fit my box, 2X2 ends (leftover from the piece I used for the horiz. support), 3/4 x 3/4 angle iron front and back (needed to use 3/4" in front to allow the drawers to open,
used 2 (one can be seen) 1/4 X 20 bolts as standoff from the fender (nut underneath to hold it down, nit and 1" washer on top.

Can't be seen.. needed to cut out a little of the Horizontal 2" angle iron to shape around the tail light. I made a template out of scrap plywood as a pattern.

Welded the frame to the horizontal support.

!/4 x 20 bolts hold the tool box to the frame.

Once done, to remove I undo the 2 (7/16") nuts below the fender, remove the (2) 8 MM allens and it all lifts off as a unit.

If you look close you'll soon realize I am NOT a professional welder. Comedy: I had to grind out the C clamp I accidently welded into one of the corners.. It makes me laugh NOW..

Isn’t the bouncing around of the tools going to drive you bonkers?

Thank you. I think that will work for me. I have a 8ishx10ishx22ish box from old tractor. Your welds look like mine. Grinder and paint make me the welder I ain't...
