kioti cx2510
I am looking to purchase a compact tractor and finalized my search on the Kioti cx2510 and the John Deere 2025r. I live in Canada and there is approximately $6,000 difference in price with the Kioti being the lower. In live in a small town with a dealer that has only been in business for the last 4 years. Not a big dealership, small shop, haven't heard too much about the service. leaning toward Kioti but unsure what support Kioti with provide customers in small towns lose its dealer with the nearest one 6 hours away.

While you're shopping ask the Deere dealer about the price on the Kubota L2501 or L2502. It will probably be a bit higher in price than the Kioti but may still be less expensive than the Deere.

do the L series Kubota have a mid PTO to attach a future front snow blower?

What is a 2502? Also, why would you ask a Deere dealer about prices for a Kubota?

The Kioti is a very good machine.... I wouldn't hesitate to get one. For a savings of $6K, you can get a few attachments

The L series does not have a mid PTO.

The B and LX series do offer a mid PTO.

I personally would lean towards Kioti for that big a price difference on a small tractor. The few I've seen are good machines & any work you need done is more likely to be warantee than down the road. Once any tractor is working right they tend to work that same way for decades.
I think you need to do some research on the Kioti dealer and maybe talk to some of his customers. When I had a mechanical shop I was always glad to provide references - both good and bad ones. I figured that the potential customer could evaluate them for himself.

I have used the JD 2025R before, and its a great little machine. It has the terrific Yanmar diesel engine. But the Kioti CX2510 is the superior tractor. Kioti has a 3-range HST compared to the 2-range HST for Deere. Its a heavier tractor and has 2x the hydraulic flow. Kioti tractors are reliable, and you may not even need to see your dealer again after purchase. All kioti parts can be order online at Michigan Iron.

Just saw this picture of Kioti CX2510 on sales lot, right next to a 2025R.

The Kioti CX is proving itself over and over again to be an awesome tractor built with a lot or torque and power! You won't be dissappointed

Not sure how much land you have or your plans but if it was me, I would go right up to the ck2610. Cheaper to buy too much tractor than not enough

I have a CX2510hst which was purchased new a year ago. It's been a good machine from my limited experience. My dealer seems to be in a stable situation but about an hour away. I'm not to concerned with their support cuz I'll fix n maintain it myself as much as possible. I chose it mainly due to the ergo's for the operator. I looked at all the contenders with Bota being the main focus. The work station sold me on the Kioti in the end. Their reputation is solid afa I'm concerned. I saved enough to pay for a few attachments as a bonus. TBH I would have paid the Bota price for the CX cuz I liked it that much. I would definitely buy it again but I would have done it years ago!
