Kioti direct shipping

So I ordered my tie rod from Kioti. Actually my dealer placed the order with a ship-to address of my home. So to anyone who has done this.... how long does it take for Kioti to ship from NC to WA? Or at least how long did it take to ship something to your place?

When I bent mine(May) it was supposed to take around four days and it took three weeks. Maybe they have their parts distrubution working better at this time.

I would not be impressed with that.

A tractor is purchased by a worker and needs to be up and running very quickly. Downtime is lost profits to tractor owners. What if I had a harvest rotting in the field?

I will report back, hopefully this week, with the part in hand.

Sorry for the repeat post, but....

Well guys, bad news. Kioti does not have the tie rods. Back ordered, noone knows when, several weeks minimum. I have officialy lost confidence in Kioti, they will have to prove themselves. My dealer, however, has gained respect by offering to pirate one off of a CK25 on the lot for me. If Kioti had them it would be a 30$ part. But they don't.

Aftermaket? jerry rig? We'll have to start fending for ourselves. I am going to keep this to myself as much as possible so I am not shamed and ridiculed by those brands with better support and the I told you so crowd.

I have taken one in the shorts.

This is a sad day.

Kind of over reacting a bit, the dealer is covering it, so what's the problem?

I'm surprised that the Kioti warehouse didn't have the part. A friend ordered a few odd parts for his DK45 and they had them. Maybe it's the popularity of the CK30 and from the posts here, it seems like a few tie rods are getting bent. Maybe Kioti can re-engineer this.
My dealer advised me that they are trying to increase their people in the parts and shipping department to better assist the dealers. Apparently July and August was bigger and better months for Kioti sales. Hopefully more employees and bigger parts stock.

Yeah, that is overreacting a little to say the least. Listen, all companies have parts that are backordered, I don't care who they are. Cub Cadet always has parts on backorder, Massey too. Stuff like this isn't uncommon at all and you are just hurting Kioti by trying to point fingers at them and saying they are the only tractor company that backorders parts from time to time and can't fill oders.

As I just said in the bend tie-rod post, take it easy on Kioti, they are really getting it together. We got a backordered tie-rod in 7 days. Not bad.
(again my parts guy at Kioti is great!)
