Hmmm, not much info to work with. Will it shuf off if you pull the fuel emerg shut off, (on my 2006, it is near the key switch)? I have had a problem with the linkage not completely shutting off the fuel, there is a pivot point that needs lube and also can become burred, once I cleaned that up, it allowed the relay/pull knob to shut down engine. It has two wires going to it, (one from foot pedal, other from hand control) and has a "peg" like pin that rides in a rounded inside cam-like device. This moves the fuel linkage to engine speed control system
