Yep, sure boils down to which one you like the best personally. In a case like that, I could probably only go with the one that offers the best price and feels the best operating.
There aren't enough differences in them for anything to be outstandingly better.
One thing I'm surprised about is your comment on engine access. I find the DK45 to have great access to the engine compartment. I've not seen the other model, so I can't compare. John

Hi Kioti John, neither machine really has a hard to access engine but the "Pop Up" hood on the LG like the DK55 is great!

(No Parts to pull off & put aside.)

yeah, but if it's like those little hydraulic rods I've had on other equipment, they don't seem to last and pretty soon I'm looking for something to prop up the hood with, because I'm too cheap to go get a replacement rod!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif John

G'day Maka, Kioti John & everyone, I went to the city to take the LG N47 for a spin.
It didn't have a loader on it but the N41 had the same sized loader so I got to have a play anyway!
I'm going to attempt to attach some pics of the 2 LG machines for those who are interested.

Today was also the day that I made my decision on which machine to buy & had the Kioti dealer no made me a great offer on the 2005 DK55 it would have been a really, really, reeeeeally hard choice. So in a way I'm glad that he made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
So today we did the deal on the DK 55 not the DK45 & I'm happy to say that I do not have wade through any more specs & crawl over any more machines, well at least not for a little while anyway! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Well here's the pics of the LG's (the one with the loader is the N41 not the N47).
Oh yeh my new toy, I mean work horse, should be delivered on Friday, just in time for the weekend.

Nice pics Buzz. I am sure you will love the new tractor as they are fine machines. When one dealer is willing to give it that little extra it sometimes makes it easy.

The NXXs are nice looking tractors alright. That hood doesn't come up as much as I would have thought though from your description. Looks like it would be hard to get your head in there to see back of engine compartment, but that may be an illusion of the pic.
I've rotated that rear shot as I couldn't stand turning my head on it's side to view that pic.
I've already said congrats on the other thread, but I think you made a good decision, and I imagine saved some money as well.

Hi John, yep the LG equivelent to the DK55 is the N60, 55HP unit here in Oz. (Which I saw but didn't take a close look at)
The best price on the LG that the dealer could do for me was AUS$38177 Exlcuding GST.
I got the DK55 with the Loader mod for $35000 even, so I'm a happy chappy.

"Krikey!" We just call them slashers, or if you want to get real technical a "Three point linkage slasher"
