Loader Kioti DK5010HS with KL5510 loader: control valve problem

I have a 2017 Kioti DK5010HS with the KL5510 loader. Everything is factory stock, I'm the first owner. There is no known damage to the machine and maintenance has been done on schedule.

The loader valve has an issue where the dump function (push right, on the curl/dump control) works very slowly at times, and I often can't get it to go into the "regen" fast dump setting, instead it hangs somewhere in between normal dump and regen and moves very slowly if at all. I can usually get a slow dump function by moving it a little left again.

In addition and possibly related, the steel lever that goes into the valve housing is also slightly loose, only in the left-right direction - it will pop into a position leaning right, and unpop into normal, back and forth.

Any ideas? Could this be some fastener or fitting that's loose? The machine is still under warranty but a dealer visit will mean several days away and maybe $100 in transport costs, so if I can fix it myself I would prefer to do so.

I would look under the boot to see what is happening. Could be just a nut loose. Most likely you will see the problem.

So thanks for the one reply and one PM so far. Can you tell me how to take the boot off? I previously tried removing the big plastic cover over the valve assembly, but that didn't seem like it was going to be useful.

A picture of the Joystick would be helpful. I will have to research a little to give good advice but if the joystick mounts to the valve it normally is just a cable tie holding the boot on. Cut that and roll the boot up on the joystick enough to see what is going on.

If it is a remote cable style then the problem could be the cables are out of adjustment.
