Kioti DK55
Hello, I have a question...I went east to a dealer and priced a DK55with a loader and backhoe....a couple of weeks ago?...and then today I went west to another dealer and priced the same tractor....the financing rates were different?....why is this?....I don't understand...also was told that rates were only good until end of month.....haven't a clue what happens then.....could someone tell me what the deal is?.......I went to second dealer, because the owner is a friend of a friend, but friendship only goes so far...when money is involved.....Mike
Also was wondering if price is about right for WV. 32000$...for above features, FEL Backhoe and canoply......thanks...

Mike,
Kioti changes, updates, etc their rates and finance plans every 3 months. (starting with October ~ Kioti's fiscal year)
So October 1st, January 1st, April 1st & July 1st expect changes)
Everything usually stays pretty much the same, but does sometimes vary slightly.
The majority of Kioti tractors are financed through Agricredit, though not all.
Like Jon said check Kioi's website.
We use a couple different finance companies, which could be the cause for your rate differences.

Hope this helps

Becky

Thanks, have checked 2 other dealers and the Kioti website and the y all say the same thing....different from the one dealer.....
seems that financing rates will stay the same until June 30th.....

Had to go to VA MC today and on the way I stopped at a NH dealership.....same rates by the way....
but I drove a tn60a tractor ....it is a nice machine and with most of the features, that kioti has.....but at a price of about 38k.....
been getting a lot of static about how I'm crazy to buy an off brand tractor.... and that if I don't buy a JD or MF or NH i will forever regret it......
no use arguing with these old farmers and of course they are right in a way......JD and MF have been around a long time....and are nice tractors.....but when its my money and the differences are several K's.....I'll decide......and it sure won't be the first mistake that I've made..........just some mind wonderings....
have been reading this post for a while and I haven't reallly heard of any real problems, a few yes,but Kioti is working on them.....and there are just not that many compiants, that I have seen.............and I know that ALL Brands will have problems!......Mike

If you are planning on doing loader work, you need to compare the NH TN60A 32LA loader specs to the Kioti DK55 1595 loader. The NH 32LA Miller built loader is a very powerful loader. The Kioti loader is slightly weaker in breakout force, and lift than the 18LA loader on the TC 48/55. Besure to compare apples, to apples, such as pivot point specs. The 32LA loader is mostly speced at the bucket edge, where as the Kioti is speced at the pivot point, the boom end to be more specific. Both tractors are excellent, and the Kioti offers more standard equipment, which are options on the NH. I've never read in the last 10 years of any problem with the basic gear drive tractor of either brand, other than the power reverser with the NH. The manual shifters on both look to be problem free. Some have complained about rollback angle with the 1595, but I believe that problem has been addressed with an engineering upgrade by Kioti. The NH buckets seem to run on the big side compared to the Kiotis. Hence the more powerful loader of the NH Miller designed, and built 32LA. The fender mounted FEL joystick is a joy. Good luck with your decision.

I don't know how far you would want to travel, but there is a dealer in PA - Forks Equipment - that had a used DK55 with loader and backhoe for an excellent price, very low hours. Something like 24K. It looked very clean. His info should be on the Kioti web site.

Thanks for info...never really thought about the specs..on loaders...
Tried out a NH TN60A yesterday...very nice....all the features that I want..or most anyway....A well built tractor, but cost is up there with a Deere,Kubota, etc........waiting on call from dealer about a demo with like 57hours on it ...supposed to get a real great deal on it....?
Not worth the difference between quality of NH and Kioti....both are very well built machines.. I am just doing the farming thing, as a hobby....So I probably wouldn't be too bothered about lift capacity..
Also I just went to Forks Equipment and no DK55 listed....DK45 with loader and lots of attachments?......no price.....
anyway...I really appreciate all the info given to me on this forum.......I have learned a lot......Mike

Good used TN's are really easy to find. We probably get 7-10 a year. There are alot of places that use them as basicly utlitiy machines are turn them over every 2-3 years. Around us the Marina's use them almost exclusivly.
