Hi all,
Just thought I'd kind of share this information. In Ontario, Canada.
Last weekend out and about and passed a Kioti dealer so thought I'd drop in for a look see. This dealer is about 30 miles away from where I live.
Browsing the lot and service manager came out to talk to me. Asked what I was looking for and explained just kind of looking and what my property was like. He suggested the LB1914 ( after finding out if I had problems with gear )
and took me in the shop to see one that they were just finishing putting together. We talked for a bit and next thing he was telling the mechanic to just finish up so I could take it around the parking lot. While waiting and talking, another customer came in and service manager introduced me. This other fellow lives about 50 miles away and had bought a Kioti here. This guy told me if I was to buy one, then buy it here as was best service he had ever seen. His tractor had a problem so he called dealer. Dealer was there within couple of hours with a trailer, picked it up and took it back for repair. Delivered back to his house the next day. No charge for service or pickup\delivery.
Took little 1914 around the lot and was impressed but what impressed me most was our subsequent conversation.
Deal was 5 year warranty, yes that is 5 years and not 4 years, 50 hr service free which included pickup and delivery, and free pickup\delivery for any repairs throughtout the 5 year warranty. Keep in mind that I do live 30 miles away.
So, when you talk about dealer service and why that makes or breaks a deal, this is the answer. No question that here is where I would go even though I have a Deere dealer 2 minutes away from my house.
Pricing, well ( all Cdn funds so ) $12900 for the LB1914, $4000 for the KL1210 loader with a 54" bucket, loaded tires and delivered.
Not sure how that compared with shopping around as I wasn't really shopping but sounded OK to me.
No, didn't buy yet .......... was just looking but really makes me think about it.
Anyways, just thought I'd share some info about what sounded like and really seemed like a good dealer.
Thanks and have a great evening.
Tom
