When you view the threads on TBN like I do, I don't really distinguish between what "forum" a thread is in, I only view the Subject headings to determine what post to read.

I own a Kioti and feel that if you want to claim that Kioti is the best for you, very important there, for you then I don't see anything wrong with it. It was the best choice for me and many others. I will gladly defend that. Some people though don't have any dealers close by, so in that case it is not the best choice for them. I think it would be safe to say that Kioti is the best.....by far for myself. Just my opinion though.

Drew, it seems you still have a little confusion as to why a thread like this is not really welcome by many of the members.
When one makes a statement such as this, there is always someone who is going to come in and challenge it, with good reason.
Once they challenge, then you answer back, the they get nastier, and someone else joins in to help, and pretty soon, we have ANOTHER on of "those" threads, and the moderators deem it necessary to shut it down to keep the peace.
I've been a part of enough of those type threads to know what can happen.
Yes, you're in the Kioti forum, which is a part of the tractorbynet pervue. It's not unusual for a lot of other brand owners to come here "just" so they can stir it a little. This thread gives them ammunition to go after you.
I personally don't see anything wrong with your post, as anyone who has any sense knows that it's YOUR opinion that you're stating. How could it be anything else? However, there will be those, who I believe are of lesser intelligence, who don't realize that, and can't just let it lie.
By the way, I don't know that I can agree with you that Kioti is the best by far. There are a lot of very good brands out there, and I've been on mnay of them. Kioti is generally a very good tractor, I love mine a lot, but I couldn't make that statement about Kioti or any other brand for that matter.

not to split hairs but how is what you read, the posters responsibility or responsible for you not knowing where you are at?

Is this the basis for the problem? Just want to know

DrewL......... certain names pop up TBN when it gets a little hot. Just my observation. The moderators will step in and take care of things /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

KJ, you said what I was obviously thinking. We have corresponded many times in the past, and I respect your knowledge and, therefore, your choice of buying and keeping your Kioti tractor. I think you would be like me, and if it didn't work for you, or you had issues, you wouldn't be afraid to post as much and even trade tractors if it didn't work out for you. As you know, I am a constant shopper and have bought many new tractors. Making such a broad, and non-defendable, statement gives your credibility a fairly strong hit with most readers. That is why I "played along" thinking it was a light hearted tongue in cheek post by a proud Kioti owner, but one who had a sense of humor. I couldn't imagine that he was serious.

Like most people, I never look under anything in searches except for posts made in the last few hours or so. The specific "room" of where a post is made never comes into play for most of us. Not do drag on, but I've driven hundreds of tractors, and have owned dozens. It would be a foolish statement to describe any as "the best....by far". Afterall, what pickup truck is the "best....by far"? I don't think anyone would attempt to answer that general question.

I'm just pointing out that because you are in the Kioti forum doesn't mean you are preaching to the choir and everyone is a 'homer' for Kioti.

Shoot, for the most part, every machine I've ever owned was "the best" at the time, except three Fords that I had a lot of trouble with, and never to be repeated!!

I certainly wouldn't keep an inferior machine around. I have too much work to do around here and other properties to bother with something that needs a lot of attention beyond routine maintenance. I guess that makes my Kioti best hands down for now, and maybe for a long time in the future.

If I had more property, and more time, I might possibly buy a different brand to go along with my Kioti, but only if what I needed wasn't offered by them. I've had great fortune with my CK20; never any problems, just crank and go. That's always BEST.

DrewL,
I think what Muhammad, and the others, are trying to say is the blanket statement.
I've seen a few posts lately dancing around this subject. Every machine has it's good and bad points. If you add those up and make a comparison with the "big three" Kioti is so far out in front it is scary. My scoring put the Kiotis turning radius as the biggest "loser" if you will but other areas make up for it in a hurry. It is hard to figure out why Kioti isn't more popular
It would be easy for people to jump all over that statement. So far it's been pretty civil in here, for once. I did not buy Kioti for several reasons. But what really matters is that you really like your choice and I like mine. So in other words your Kioti is the best by far.....for you.
