<font color="blue"> I will gladly defend that. </font>
No offense meant, but in all the years I've been here, this is what I still don't understand. Why does anyone, regardless of brand, feel the need to 'defend' anything? I would imagine that 99% of the people on TBN are happy with the tractor they bought. While I am happy with my New Holland TC25D, I have never felt the need to either defend my decision or defend New Holland nor have I ever felt the need to be a New Holland evangelist. TBNers across the forums are happy with their JD, Kubota, Kioti, Mahindra, etc. What could be better?
Regarding newbies who are looking for advice...sometimes I don't think we give them enough credit. They may not know much about tractors, after all that's why they're here, but they are not stupid. They aren't going to take one person's opinion and most of them can distinguish between someone offering a level headed recommendation that's based upon their requirements and a brand troll.
Regarding trolls...Everyone can recognize them when they appear. How do I know this? Because they respond to them, forgetting the standard Internet advice, "Don't feed the trolls." Instead, click on the Notify Moderator button.
