Dan, my hour meter plodded along when I got my machine and then all together stopped. I installed an aftermarket hour meter (from EBay) so I could perform maintenance at the prescribed hour intervals. It's pretty cheap to do and then you don't have to worry about the accuracy (or lack of) on your dash mounted meter.
Hopefully, when you changed your fluids, you did the filters as well.
You said you worked the machine for six hours over the weekend so you must have something on it. What attachments did you get with it? We love pictures!
