kioti LK2554 hydraulic issue

So i purchased a LK2554 and absolute love the thing! the only issue i had was the loader was extremely slow and jerky. you had to throttle it up for it really to be useable. so i thought i might go ahead and change the hydraulic fluid along with a new filter. still had the same issue as before extremly slow/jerky. well then i thought lets go ahead and replace the pump it being an older tractor. nothing has changed.. any ideas? i was following the lines and came across this almost like valve that you can turn left or right? if i turn it all the way right hydraulics stop working if i turn it all the way to the left the hydraulics quit working. any idea where i need to check for dirt or spring?

What's the difference between 'stop' and 'quit' working?

Not a clue but, I bet there is an inline strainer under the banjo bolt adjacent to that knob. Did you remove and clean it as well? I see it has a copper sealing washer on it. You can reuse it but you have to anneal it before using it again.

I anneal (make them soft again) by heating them on my wife's electric range burner until they are dull red, turn the burner off and let it cool to room temp and reinstall it. You can also do it with a propane torch, carefully.

That's a relief valve, flow control, possibly flow divider type of thing. I doubt there's any strainers in there.

Like I said, not familiar but I'd be getting a shop manual to find out for certain. I'm a Kubota owner.
