Thank you k5lwq for vindicating me, a few were beating on me over the lift pump. Not sure maybe tractor slipped into the twilight zone or there was a major manufacturing defect that didn't get flagged by inspectors, does that mean it is worth a lot of money like a bad mint mark on a coin. Lol. All joking aside I thank you all for the help and input. Thank you all for your time and effort it is greatly appreciated! I'm sure there is somebody out there with a tractor like mine, and if they have the same problem I hope they find this post. 73's Michael, ab2df.

No problem. It is a strange deal that is a fact. The fact that you posted the picture and I was able to identify where the pump should mount and people still did not believe us is even stranger. LOL

None the less I am glad you found a solution and you should be good for quite some time. 73's

here's a post by someone with exactly the same tractor, and it DOES have a lift pump, also, parts dealers do sell lift pumps for it, so, it's very strange yours don't have one!. https://www.tractorforum.com/threads/fuel-supply-issue-on-kioti-lk3054.42115/ the electric pump is better anyway, since you don't have to crank the engine to get fuel to the injection pump!..

I have two of the same exact engine as his and both have the lift pump. But if you look at the picture, his never had one. I would not be surprised if his is a one of a kind. It is baffling for sure!

Hi Fellas, I just ran across this thread & for some reason I never commented or helped when it started..??
Instead of going back & reading all 6 pgs.. I'll just tell ya what I know..
When I run them those pumps on the test stand, the specs call for 6-8 psi feed pressure to the inlet..
I know its hard to find an electric lift/supply pump in that specific range so I would say, no more than 10 psi..
otherwise u stand a chance in over pressurizing the pumping plungers & blowing fuel past them & fuel ending up in the oil pan..

possibly it was never drilled out for the lift pump, and the guy's assembling the engine just didn't care, and just assembled it without the pump, and it was sold that way!.. how else could this have happened?..

Your guess is as good as mine. I have no idea how or why it got out without a lift pump, but it did.

It is a lot like what I hear all the time. "Ok, we are not going to point any fingers, we are a team, tomorrow is another day..." and I walk out and say ok who screwed up! You know someone messed something up when you start hearing those words.:laughing:

well, now you know WHY the better diesels have a lift pump!.. I DID post a link to a lift pump as used on the LK3054 tractor, perhaps it's not the original engine in yours, or Kioti decided to eliminate it to save a buck!.:thumbdown: for Kioti..
