Kioti not shipping tractors?

Dealer is telling me Kioti is not shipping anything right now, something to due with the computer system? Anybody know anything about this? Thanks

They are doing an entire systems upgrade right now, so as with any software transition, there will be delays and learning curves in the new system.
If there are specific parts needs - feel free to ask if anyone else has stock

I'm not sure what you ordered, but I would give it another week or so and then there should be better information available for shipping lead times. They just went live on Monday.

Considering high dealer inventory for many brands, it might be the least disruptive time for them. I think we can be sure they considered all this.

Kubota was shut down the first three weeks of the year and now it looks like Kioti was doing some updates too.

They offered to try to find something, but all the local dealers are out of stock too

Software system upgrades/changeovers never go smooth.
The software company always tells you it will be fine and nobody on the receiving end ever plans enough time for the eventual issues.

Seems every company, every time they upgrade software gets burned and they are still caught off guard.....Its the definition of insanity!

tell me about it, when Generac does a computer upgrade....im always ready for the 3-4 week disaster that ALWAYS entails.

When I was selling tractors in AZ, I actually picked up new tractors at dealers in Las Vegas and Albuquerque at different times. Was quicker than waiting for Kubota to ship one in.

I think it's a smart and realistic approach on Kioti's part. In 1999, Hershey switched their ERP system over to SAP. The conversion wasn't successful and they couldn't ship any chocolate for halloween. Probably their biggest month of the year. They should have waited until after Christmas to do it. If they missed Valentines Day, not a big deal. Ladies love the Whitman's Sampler anyway.

Our local dealer is overflowing with stock. I was surprised when I drove by yesterday

The local NH dealer here also sells Kioti. Drove past yesterday, dealer has 2 or 3 NH blue tractors but
a boat load of Kioti tractors sitting in the front row. So, they're shipping them somewhere.
