Kioti Nx issues

Not sure but my NS 5310 has the loader control mounted by the seat. There are cables running to the valve spools which I'm not a fan of but I'll take it to have the loader controls mounted convinently beside me.

In my sample of 1 -- no HST issues. They did a recall shortly after purchase for HST firmware and grounding straps. But I never had any noticebale issues before or after recall (still very low hours).

I don't think the NS was avialable when I bought my NX. If it is a more cost effective option on teh same size platform I may have optioned to go that route but i'm happy with my NX.

What year is your NX?

What year did the NX series have the issues with lurching in the throttle? Trying to figure out if a 2022 is safe.

Tim
My 2022 has that problem. The dealer I purchased it from couldn't get it out. However, local Kioti dealer Vermeer Ag East Texas has gotten most of it out. They are still working on fixing the CAL problem. Sometimes, the tractor will not move in either direction (you can push either peddle down to the floor). Sometimes all it takes is hitting the CAL switch on the right pannel. At other times, you can kill the engine, wait 30-45 seconds, and try to restate. If no luck, try turning the key on and hitting the CAL button before engaging the starter.

I'm starting to think the "lurching" may just just be from foaming hydro fluid getting air getting stuck somewhere in the transmission and not the speed solenoid (or whatever Kioti calls it) but I need more running time.

The idea (and this may not pan out to be true) is that after I replaced my leaking hydraulic lines off of my hydraulic pump, I only used my tractor once in the winter for plowing and the tractor did lurch when cold. Once warmed up, the lurching went away (as it always has). But my tractor has been lurching when started summer or winter and now suddenly, it has NOT been lurching. This may be luck of the draw, or that the "air" that was stuck somewhere finally foamed out and was carried to the tank thereby resolving the lurching issue and because the tank is staying topped off now that I've fixed the hydraulic leaks.

Anyway, more cold start cycles are needed and my thesis may be incorrect.

My NX is from 2014 and has no updated software.
