Noticed today oil dripping from plastic tab on bottom of starter motor. Only drips when engine running. NX4510 with only 65 hours on it. Afraid it is the rear main seal leaking. Anyone else have this issue?

One other thing I forgot to mention. The dipstick on the engine blew out partially the other day. Could there be excess pressure in the crankcase causing the oil leak? Not sure if there is a valve on the engine that releases pressure. Tractor is new to me, and troubleshooting in minus 20 is not fun.

there is pressure building up in the crankcase. You need to find the breather and make sure it is not plugged or frozen with moisture. Sorry I can't help locate the breather, I am not familiar with that particular tractor but usually it is a hose coming from or going to the valve covers

Thanks jonsstihl. I also have a B7800 with 2000 hrs. This Kioti is an upgrade for those cold winters when I have to clear snow for several hours. Having the cab is very nice. Getting too old for the open station. I will locate the breather and see is that makes a difference. I hope that is all it is. Thanks for your input.
