Comparison Kioti or Mahindra, new holland

All of you are really awesome. Thanks for all input and please continue. When I look at the spec comparison seems that mahindra out performs the dk50se hst. But that is my in experience with tractor details.
So it sounds like hydrostatic is the best thing since sliced bread. Im assuming they are just as durable as a gear driven tractor. Please continue to input. Ill reupdate you tommorrow on my tractor search. Eventually Ill make a final decision, then Ill let you know how the new tractor operates weather it is mahindra, Kioti or something else. I drove the hydrostatic a week ago. Seems like it would be very easy for my wife to operate..... but she could do a gear driven one also...

People can get really wrapped up in slight differences in some tractor statistic. Once you have the tractor, operation is way more important than MAYBE having to take a second pick at a pile once in every 50 picks due to loader capacity. Or whatever statistic. Kioti makes a good machine and HSTs in general are very reliable.

If I am In a field going in circles, I want a gear tractor. For an all purpose unity tractor an HST is sweet.

The Mahindra has a 3122 lb max lift at pins to full height. He could also go to HST with the Mahindra. I personally would still go with the Kioti though.

50 hp mahindra hst is $10000 more. Dealer said they are giving me a deal on the 5010 cause it is a close out and they want to move the unit

Well I have 3 tractors with loaders, lift capacity at 1400, 3900 & 6000lbs. ALL of them are good. :thumbsup:

Right. On that class of tractor, I get nervous with over 2500 lbs in the air. With a larger frame, exceeding 2500 lbs, yes, but not with this class of tractor. Not me anyway. Having an HST is much more valuable than the extra lift to me. Get the Kioti. No regrets.

I understand that you are considering machines that happen to be offered to you at a good price. I mentioned the Mahindra again, because it may sound to some people that the Mahindra was not available with HST and it is and Kioti's are touted for having that great lifting capacity, but Mahindra's is even higher. But all of that comes at a greater cost, but it is available.

Like I said, I would still go with the Kioti DK50HST.

With proper ballast the DK is well into the 6k range, it will have no problem with that weight.
