How did you make out with your cvt belt .I have had my Mechron 2200 for about 3 months and my belt squeals some too. I opened it up and there is lots of slack in the belt and was wondering if anybody knew how much slack is normal
or how you would go about taking up some of that slack
I am 8 hours away from any dealers
any help would be appreciated

I have a 2002 Kawasaki prairie 650 that's belt drive and now squeals AFTER replacing the belt (at idle) and likely putting it on too tight side of specs. On most belt drives there's selective thickness shims that go between the drive pulley sheaves that control installed tension. I have the manual for the Kawa but don't know on the Kioti.
