I think it would be a good idea to include the CD when you buy the paper manual, though I'm not counting on them doing it- piracy is just too easy.

Service updates would be GREAT as add-ons for the paper manual, but that, too, is problematic. How would they know who has them? I doubt they are going to be willing to start registering manual owners. In their eyes, the juice would not be worth the squeeze.

I bought a factory service manual for a Subaru STI once (7 volumes at $375). My dealer received it, handed it to me, and that was the end of that transaction as far as Subaru was concerned.

The only way you are ever going to see service manual updates is to open a dealership- or least start buying beer for one that is sympathetic to your cause.

I thought those who would like to be heard about wanting Kioti to supply CD versions of American market tractor service manuals, parts lists, etc. could add their name to this list. TBN username, NOT personal actual names; then this list could be sent to Kioti to impress upon them the need for a better system of distributing data to customers.
Included in this request to Kioti could be things like periodic updates as midstream production changes and the like occur in part number super-sessions, etc.
There are some databases out there for looking at parts diagrams, etc, but they are rife with issues and Kioti really needs to step up to this challenge if it wants to be one of the best tractor companies for us as tractor owners.
Please add your name to this thread and any positive ideas for needed improvement.

I am in.
In the Army, we install interactive electronic technical manuals on a computer. The Kioti manuals could be installed also, but requiring a code and registration. This would cut down on piracy. This common practice.

I look up parts for the New Holland, Jacobsen, chain saw, sheep Shears and others. At least I would like a good parts with diagrams available on the web.

I have a new 2013 Dk40HSE, along with the service and parts manuals. The service manual has a 2008 date, so is obviously outdated. And the owner's manual is also out of date, with hydraulic oil recommendations that are not current as of 2010, in the case of Shell Donax. And disagrees within itself and the maintenance manual. Example: When to change the main sump hydraulic oil for the first time.

I would also like manuals on CD for the electronic search features. But even more I would like updated paper manuals. Any manual purchased in any format should be up to date within the calendar year purchased.

I usually purchase factory shop manuals for any equipment or autos I purchase new and am disappointed in what Kioti provided for my money.
