My PTO says Made in PRC which stands for peoples republic of cheap. My tines were stamped Spain. I did not rip apart the gearbox to see where that stuff came from. I think the 6' I bought must have had the housing/frame made in US and the parts are all imported.
Maybe but that is also the case with KKII then. The KK customer service people swore up and down that the machines were identical. Obviously KK itself will change suppliers occasionally and I'm not surprised that they use imported parts. I'd guess the gearbox is foreign too as most that size are these days.
